As I was walking over the different concerts I can not believe my ears. I was hearing top indie bands all along at the same place. The music filled my ears when i rocked back and forth. I was there with six guys and we were getting the best in time the world. Except with the heat everything was perfect. I had just started studying indie music with 3 months before. I had visited online playlists wanting to discover new artists that are going to satisfy my craving. I had began to recognize a few indie bands about a month ago. That is when my best mate Joe invited me in to the future with him to this particular music festival. The atmosphere was perfect.
There had been all sorts of bands here. There were emo bands playing their sad songs. There initially were indie electronic bands along with the Postal Service. I had really begun to like this music. I could walk between genres of music and relish the fact that I’d never heard examples of these bands before nevertheless they were playing music which has been just as good while the mainstream stuff.
Within the ride home we stopped by Sonic to get some fast food and some great drinks. I could not get some of these bands out of my head therefore i started speaking to Joe a couple of few of them. He asserted that although he hadn’t heard of some of them he definitely had heard a lot of them on a few different playlists online. He gave me the different sites name so i wrote them down. Joe challenged me to earn a playlist and come in in our contest among our friends. Much i’m happy to report I won the tiny contest qualifing for the bragging rights for an additional pair month. Joe started in second making it much sweeter having beaten my mentor within the music. The one guy who had shown me the great indie bands had lost in our little contest. It truly made my day.
Its you that happen to be just starting to find indie music appealing I recommend listening to several of the more mainstream bands. My personal suggestions will be Arcade Fire, Death Cab for Cutie, Dashboard Confessional and Modest Mouse. You will definitely recognize some of their songs but there is real treasures which might be yet to be undiscovered by you in case you aren’t a diehard fan yet. After taking note of these bands come home and discover more with my new posts. I’ll do not forget to update them as I find more music that enjoy.
